Warranty Policies & Terms and Conditions

Please Review Before Placing Your Order

Please review the following Warranty Policies, Terms, and Conditions carefully before placing your order with ProDrive Auto Solutions. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies and terms outlined in this agreement.

1. Warranty Coverage Period:

1.1 Unless a different warranty is expressly stated on the sales invoice, purchases from ProDrive Auto Solutions include a standard 30-day parts replacement warranty. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the covered part and does not provide other forms of compensation.

1.2 If offered for the applicable part, customers may elect to purchase an extended 90-day warranty at an additional cost. This option provides an additional 60 days of coverage beyond the standard 30-day warranty period.

1.3 Choosing the 90-day warranty does not otherwise change the applicable warranty requirements, exclusions, limitations, or procedures. The same warranty terms and conditions continue to apply throughout the selected coverage period.

1.4 Warranty coverage begins from the applicable date stated in the sales documentation and expires at the end of the designated warranty period. Any claim submitted after the warranty has expired will not be eligible for coverage under these warranty terms.

2. Warranty Activation:

2.1 The applicable warranty period begins on the date the purchased part is delivered to the customer, as confirmed by the shipping carrier’s delivery records. The carrier’s delivery confirmation will be used to establish the effective start date of the warranty.

3. Warranty Limitations & Conditions:

3.1 Labor and Storage Costs
The warranty does not cover labor, installation, removal, diagnostic, towing, rental, or storage expenses associated with the covered part.

3.2 Original Purchaser
Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser listed on the applicable sales invoice.

3.3 Defective or Failed Parts
If a covered part is determined to be defective, ProDrive Auto Solutions may, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part or covered component. If a suitable replacement is unavailable, ProDrive Auto Solutions may issue a refund for the covered part, up to the original purchase price paid for that part.

3.4 Replacement Parts
ProDrive Auto Solutions may, at its discretion, provide a comparable used replacement assembly of the same or similar type. The replacement unit may have mileage that is equal to or greater than the originally supplied unit.

3.5 Warranty Period After Replacement
Replacing a covered component, transmission, or engine constitutes a warranty repair and does not restart, extend, or otherwise modify the original warranty period. The replacement part remains subject to the original warranty terms and expiration date.

3.6 Warranty Claim Requirements
All warranty claims must be submitted before the applicable warranty period expires. Customers may be required to provide a copy of the original invoice or other applicable purchase documentation when submitting a claim.

3.7 Engine Warranty Coverage
Where engine warranty coverage applies, the engine is warranted against internal knocking and excessive smoking, subject to the applicable warranty terms. Coverage is limited to defects involving the engine block, cylinder heads, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, rocker components, and oil pump.

Any accessories or additional components supplied with an engine are considered separate or ancillary components unless specifically stated otherwise on the invoice. These items may not be covered under the engine warranty.

Items generally excluded from engine warranty coverage include bolt-on accessories, electrical control modules, wiring, sensors, and other ancillary components that may be supplied with the engine. Warranty coverage may also be void if any applicable warranty identification, heat tab, or tamper-evident device has been removed, altered, or damaged.

3.8 Transmission Warranty Coverage
Where transmission warranty coverage applies, the transmission is warranted to be in proper operating condition against covered slippage or shifting-related failures, subject to the applicable warranty terms.

Accessories and external components, including but not limited to modulators, governors, electrical control modules, linkage, mounts, seals, gaskets, and fluids, are not covered unless specifically stated otherwise on the invoice.

3.9 Required Installation and Maintenance
For warranty coverage to remain valid, the purchaser must follow applicable recommended installation, replacement, and service procedures for the part. Proof of proper installation or completion of required procedures may be requested when processing a warranty claim.

After installation, the purchaser is responsible for maintaining the vehicle according to the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule. ProDrive Auto Solutions may request maintenance records or other documentation when necessary to evaluate a warranty claim. Failure to follow required installation or maintenance procedures may result in denial of warranty coverage.

    • Final Inspection: Verify all connections, fluid levels, mounting points, and related components before starting or driving the vehicle.

4. Warranty Exclusions & Limitations:

4.1 Any claim or damage resulting from failure to maintain proper coolant, fluid, refrigerant, or lubrication levels; overheating of any type; abuse; negligence; freezing; fire; flood; vandalism; theft; collision; acts of God; competition or racing; use not approved by the vehicle manufacturer; improper load capacity; improper towing; contaminated fluids, coolants, or lubricants; misuse; adverse road conditions; riots; acts of war; or similar circumstances is not covered under this warranty.

4.6 Any cost or expense associated with obtaining repair estimates, diagnostic evaluations, or work performed solely to determine the cost or scope of a repair is not covered.

4.7 Breakdowns resulting from excessive wear and tear considering the vehicle’s age, mileage, and normal operating conditions are not covered. Breakdowns that occur while the vehicle or part is covered by another warranty of any kind are also not covered.

4.8 Breakdowns covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or recall, distributor or repair facility guarantee, another written warranty, government or court order, decree or settlement, or any valid and collectible insurance policy are not covered under this warranty.

4.9 Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered. ProDrive Auto Solutions does not cover oil leaks or damage to engines or transmissions resulting from failure to replace required seals, gaskets, or filters during installation. 4.11 Claims occurring outside the United States are not covered under this warranty.

4.12 Claims initiated after the applicable warranty period has expired are not covered.

4.13 Once a warranty claim has been initiated, the purchaser must not continue to operate the vehicle until ProDrive Auto Solutions has completed its claim review and provided authorization to proceed. Continued operation of the vehicle after a suspected warranty-related failure may void the warranty.

4.14 Improper installation of an engine or transmission, or installation performed by a person or facility that does not meet applicable professional licensing or certification requirements, may void the warranty. Installation must be performed by a qualified automotive technician or licensed automotive repair facility in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
